The Euro coins from Slovakia
Slovakia has been a member of the European Union since May 2004, and is a member of the European Economic and Monetary Union. Slovakia adopted the euro on 1 January 2009, replacing its previous currency, the Slovak koruna. Slovak euro coins feature three separate designs for the three series of coins.
